The student handbook contains a section regarding refunds. It states: "Your enrollment fees are non-refundable and apply only to the current term. This means if you change your mind, forget to attend classes or for any reason are unable to complete a class you may take the course again at a later date but, you will have to re-enroll and pay the applicable fees." I decided, since I can't guarantee everyone reads the student handbook, that it would be a good idea to have a page specifically written to clarify our policy on refunds. First and foremost, Eclectic Academy offers a 100% Risk Free Guarantee. You will always have eight (8) days after a semester starts to request a refund........no questions asked. This gives you an opportunity to log into your classroom, say hello on the message board, review your first lesson, do the assignments and ask questions if you have any. The second lesson is posted on the 8th day. If, after viewing the second lesson, you feel the course is not what you expected please request a refund or a transfer to another class. Once the 9th day begins we assume the course is one you want to take and you are happy with the lessons and the instructor. Refunds requested from day 9 to 46 of any semester will be viewed on a case by case basis. We do understand that sometimes there are emergencies and events can occur that are outside of your control. But please, do not email requesting a refund because you "didn't have time". There are 10 days after the last lesson is posted to log in, download or save your lessons to review when you do have time. We appreciate your understanding.
