Access Intermediate will cover the following topics:
1) Joins / Relationships, includes what they are, the different types and how to create them. You will find out where to view them for the whole database as well as referential integrity
2) Multi-Table Queries, includes how to add multiple tables, join them and what happens if you don't join them.
3) Action Queries including delete, make table, append and update.
4) Intermediate Table Use: including multiple primary keys and modifying an existing table.
5) Intermediate Forms: includes display controls, grouped controls, D-Lookup, IIF function and sub-forms.
6) Reports: includes multi-table reports, graphics in reports, report templates and sub-reports.
prerequisite: Access 101 or a basic understanding of the Access objects (tables, queries, forms)

Requirements:
You need to have knowledge of HTML plus html program. FrontPage will be used in this class to show and explain the HTML of the ebook layout. You also need a good graphics program, plus how to upload pages to the internet. Some marketing procedures will also be covered. Throughout the class teacher will recommend additional products that
will help you in creating your ebook. The additional products will be free or purchase required.

PowerPoint Advanced

Advanced PowerPoint: Doing animations with PPT 2002 or 2003 Learn how and when to use the advanced animation capabilities of PPT to create presentations that impress your audience. Techniques presented will be for both speaker-led presentations and stand-alone (kiosk) presentations.
Over the six sessions, we will cover the following topics:

Typography , Level 1
Instructor: Tawanna Battee-McDonald Typography is an essential element in good design. It sets the design, it supports the design. It IS the design. Attention to typography detail and knowing how to utilize proper typography skills is what set designers apart. In the Typography level 1 course you will start with learning the history of type and progress to the basic fundamental typography.
Knowing what a dumb quote is, or why it happens and other mishaps in typography can boost your design skills in using type!
Prerequisites: Students must have a good working knowledge of how their computer and operating system works, how to open, save and find files, and must have and familiarize themselves with a word program such as Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, AppleWorks, or Microsoft Word.
After finishing this course you will know entry level skills in typography. This course will teach you the brief history of type, units of type, the anatomy of type, your how identify typefaces correctly, features of type, typewriting vs typesetting, and learning what is good type and bad type.
